Alternative trails, alerts and more: Washington state recreation app rolling out this spring

A new Washington state app for recreation opportunities and trails will debut this spring, the state’s tourism organization announced Wednesday. State of Washington Tourism is developing the app in partnership with Seattle-based company Dharma Maps and TREAD (Trails, Recreation, Advocacy, and Development), a Wenatchee, Wash.-based group that brings together outdoor recreationalists with a commitment to “trails for all.”
